So how was staging in quarters for a PD Assist?
 
It was right about the time in the afternoon when we were finishing our workout and starting to grab dinner our Captian likes to grab a bowl and go eat out on the bay and watch the sunset, so we all kind of started doing that too haha) so we were just chilling and watching them going "...?"

And then like 20 min later they all just kind of got back in their cars and drove away lol

Yeah, sorry about the missed posts. There were a crap ton and I was in a hurry . Got the rest of them and have take some actions that should help reduce the amount of them showing up, including pre-emptive bans on similar accounts.

Dang spammers won't even give me time to get new phone configured before trying to register new accounts. So far the changes appear to be working for now and I intercept them before they complete registration .
 
Managed to intercept another spammer today, so I'm comfortable with the changes I implemented. Will continue to monitor all new registrations for a while since they tend to come in waves to meet their quota.
 
Finally...the Mariners won the AL West.

Subsequently it feels like it’s been that long since the Angels have done that.
 
My FD is asking for guys to volunteer for Investigations training. It would involve a 6 month commitment to working with the Investigations in our Fire Prevention Bureau. A 40hr "office" work week (well "office" is as often as not a fire scene... just after the wet stuff has already been put on the red stuff lol)

I can't say I'm super thrilled about the idea to leave the Station and go to a 40hr work week, but I am actually fairly interested, and it would be good for future promotion opportunities (in addition to generally helpful knowledge on firegrounds), so I submitted my name for consideration.

No idea how many guys they're actually looking for vs how many others are interested, nor even the timeline of when they want to start (like am I going to get an email saying instead of my station I show up to their office next Monday? *shrugs*)
