hmmm interesting. My company is testing out zoll monitors and lifepack 15's right now to see who likes what better.

we will see how it goes.

The web based ECG viewing will be nice, but it likely won't be all that useful for EDs. It will more likely be used as a QA tool. The good thing is that it will put pressure on Physio to get away from hardware or application based ECG viewing.

I should modify that a bit. I understand that there are some systems where the medics send the ECG to the ED for diagnosis. I'm sure that for those systems, this will be a nice advance. OTOH, I don't understand why the medics in those systems don't teach their medics to read and interpret 12 lead ECGs. But, that's a discussion for another thread.
