When the best month to apply for an EMT-B position?

Hey!

I'm from Brooklyn NY... I have received my EMT certificate April 2011. I have applied for Midwood Amb ( no call back ) Lifeline ( no call back ) Assist Amb ( no call back ) AMR ( no call back ) And many others. Do anyone who is working now can give me any advice. I'm so ready for work! Please help!

Any month that there is a job opening is the best month. There is such a flood of emt's that as a new emt you are going to have to make looking for a job your full time job. That or take a loss and move to another profession with more openings and probably better pay.
