When does it click?

Im in medic school, only two months left. Since day one my instructor has said that one day it will all "click". I just want to know where/when did it click for you?

I understand most of it. My instructor keeps saying that it will click and then be like second nature. I had a friend that just finished up medic school and he says the same thing.

Everyone is different. Just give it some time and one day it'll all just come together.

The last few weeks of my field internship is when it happened for me.

Really getting comfortable with your suroundings, the hospitals, other crew members and all of the specific equipment on your rig can be a big help. When you don't have to think about the small stuff, everything just kind of happens. You can become a medic without having to concentrate on all the small stuff.

Luckily, I went to work at the same place I rode my last quarter, so I didn't have to relearn protocols and systems. I just slid right in.
