what is your biggest stressor while working

As the title says, what causes you the most stress while your working. What's the thing that wakes you up and gets the blood pumping?

For me its hearing our identifier on the radio or having the pager go off. Especially if I'm resting with my eyes shut, its those two things that jack me up the most. Which makes it frustrating when it's just being given a lunch, but for a call it at least gives me time to slow down think and process what I'm headed towards.
 
Any call involving a pediatric patient. I despise those calls with a passion.

Any call after 3am. I have a love/hate relationship with 24hr shifts.
 
Stresser? Any call involving children/ pediatrics.
What gets my blood pumping? Hearing the unit number/ pager go off. I get a adrenaline rush every time.
 
For me it's driving code 3 .. I get road rage lol. especially when stupid people pull over to the side of the road , but keep driving so you can't pass...
 
I hate driving code 3 as well. My former boss and fto generated more stress for me than any call I have been on.

Meh. Not really in that much of a rush. I'd much rather drive without L&S.

100% agree with you , I hate driving with them. People freeze up and get stupid and IMO it takes more time sometimes rather then if you would just use them going through intersections
 
Having to pee.

Oh and when I arrive at the hospital with a transport and diaptach tells me there is a pickup holding.
 
Unpredictable partners.
 
Hunger.


I get hangry.
 
When people move slow...when I need something and they seem to lolly gag....it drives me crazy.
And peds calls too I guess...there's a lot of calculations involved I don't wanna screw up.
