i’m a bit ashamed to ask, but I need some insight. I completed my emt-b course in high school in 2018. I passed the psychomotor exam but failed the cognitive exam. unfortunately I hadn’t had the best home life so I hadn’t had the opportunity to study and take the test again. im unsure if I have to take the course again entirely since I never got completely certified, or take a recourse class for a certain amount of hours.
what is the next step ?

Since you're beyond the two year limit for passing the NREMT, you'd need to take the entire course again.
