I'm curious as to what everyone's certification level is, and if your paid or vollie.
 
I am volunteer ALS. :)
 
I'm an advanced EMT. I work PRN at a local hospital where my main job is working as a licensed mental health counselor.
 
I am a paid Paramedic for the county, and a volunteer FF/Fire Marshal with the county.
 
Volunteer First Responder, (working on employment) and Community Service Coordinator/Volunteer Coordinator for my division.
 
I start EMT-B on october 3rd, I like to refer to myself as a PRE MT haha get it get it get it?!?!?!?! Pre mt?!?! bwaha hahaha I crack myself up
 
Paid firefighter/ licensed paramedic.
Became a RN earlier this year.
 
Paid EMT-B (part-time) and I volunteer with the Red Cross - there are very few actual volunteer opportunities around here, unfortunately.

Not having preassigned duty shifts (except maybe duty weekends) with another viable source of income.

I know there are some agencies where the "volunteers" get paid for calls.

let's see......the last few years my preassigned duty shifts equaled 876 hours, but it's been up to 1454 hours in the past, and that's not counting when i simply decide to pinch hit

and i have a totally seperate viable source of income
