Hey,

I'm looking for some feedback on this one. Currently the system is set up so that a user's title is according to their post count. Here is how is currently goes:

Title - Required Posts
Newbie - 0
Forum Member - 10
Forum Regular - 30
EMTLife Oldie - 250
Forum Elder - 500

But these are boring. So I need suggestions. Some ideas:

Ride-Along - 0
Probie EMT - 10

But those are just my non-creative ideas. I'm sure you guys have better ones.

Thanks as always.

Hmmmm, let's see.

Ride Along - 0
Probie EMT - 10
EMT - 30
Medic - 250
Paragod - 500

Using actual levels (EMT, Paragod) might confuse new members and guests to the board.

Best I could do with no sleep. I'll think about it some more, and see what I can come up with.

One of the FF boards I read uses the fire service rank system (Forum Probie, Forum FF, Forum Lt., etc.).

Yeah, something like:

Ride Along - 0
Probie - 10
Crew Member - 30
Lieutenant - 100
Captain - 250
2nd Asst. Chief - 500
1st Asst. Chief - 1,000
Chief - 5,000

Maybe change 1st Assistant Chief to Deputy Chief?

I'll tell you what. You'll have my vote for these "rank" titles if it looked something like this:

Forum Ride Along - 0
Forum Probie - 10
Forum Crew Member - 30
Forum Lieutenant - 100
Forum Captain - 250
Forum Asst. Chief - 500
Forum Deputy Chief - 1,000
Forum Chief - 5,000

Basically putting 'Forum' in front of the title and changing the names of the higher ranks a little. Now granted, these seem more fire related than EMS but I do like them.

This sounds good to me. Any other feedback on these?

I admit they're really for fire, as for my private company it:

Ride Along
Junior Medic
Senior Medic
Supervisor

But yours are definitely better. Anyone have any further suggestions or objections? I like Chimp's post and it seems he really pulled all previous suggestions together.

Squirrel? Aren't those the little fuzzy things that commit suicide by diving under my truck's wheel?

Last time I checked, a squirrl was on the fire side aren't they? ;)

But I would like to post my vote for the Para-military style.

How about you put one at 15000 - Fourm WHACKER - and that would be TRUE!!!!

But personally, I liked the Non-fire titles.

(But I'm late, so I guess my vote doesn't count anyway
