I stepped down from a well paid position to take on Paramedic School starting in 12 days. I went from 50+ hrs a week 10hr days to a 32-40 hour a lot less stress/responsibility/pay job.

Sometimes life is a gamble, we will see how it turns out......

You won't regret it.

Until the bills come in :P

Good luck!

Good luck!!

Wish I could quit work too!!

I did it... abandoned a 6 figure annual income in my own consulting company to be a medic.. making about 40K a year (1st year out of school) and I am happy as a clam.......

I should note that I am crazy as a loon :P

I also left a well paying job to make time for Basic class. Now I'm just waiting to take the NREMT test and then I will begin the search for an EMT job. I already know that I'm going to be much happier. The job I have now is lower paying but more fun while I'm waiting for a truck.

And I too am crazy. :P

Sounds like a trend, huh?

I left a 6 figure job to return to EMS. I'm starting medic school next month. :)
