The nice people at my squad? I emailed the recruiter since the captain is out contact with everyone lower than ME FKN! I wanted to do first responder they said we do not care for first responder is and than I asked anothere core they said jersey do not see it as prehospital care. But, the police officer all have first responder and ride sometimes. I am just stupid?

I gave them my POS pager back MINITOR II

I can barely understand the OP's message. Maybe I'm just lacking sleep, or something, I don't know.

Don't type angry would be my advice lol I hope your email to the recruiter was more carefully proof read.

It appears you've been so far even as decided to do want to look more like and/or accidentally the whole thing. I suggest remedial English and a different career.

You need to grow up dude. Get a couple more years under your belt then come back and give it another go. It's pretty obvious it's not working at the moment. All this experience is doing is making you angry and will eventually leave a horrible impression of EMS on you.

Don't pull the "Your picking on me because I'm young" card either. I was in your shoes not too long ago.
 
I am so very confused about what the problem is (other than grammar). From what I can discern, the OP is unable to get into a first responder class?

If that's the case, calm down, you're still in high school if I remember correctly, you have plenty of time to get into a first responder course. Like Rob said, grow up and give it some time, you need to mature a little more before you give EMS another go.

Hmm...I'm pretty confused as well, but to me it seems like he's frustrated that his local "squad" won't take him on as a first responder because first responders can't staff ambulances.

First of all, calm down.

Second of all, there is no first responder in NJ, not according to the Department of Health anyway. what the cops have is Crash Injury Management and "Everyone needs a NRB @ 15 LPM, regardless of complaint." There are a few other agencies that offer first responder (National Safety Council is one I know), but they aren't recognized by the DOH. If any cop tells you otherwise, ask them to show you their First Responder card from the DOH.

Third of all, Minitor II is the best pager ever. I would gladly turn in my III, IV or V for a II. the IIs have better reception, and stand up to abuse better.

Forth, first responder isn't all that great, and it has no bearing in the eyes of the DOH, since you need to be an EMT to be on the ambulance (or first aider and a valid CPR card).

I'm gonna stand by my original statement, you need to wait a few years, mature, and grow up. your anger issues appear to be out of control (based just on what you post here), and you need to learn to be patient.

Otherwise you will be more of a hindrance than a help on an ambulance.
