While I was in the drop off line at my son's Pre-school, I looked back to see him reading, "Bledsoe's essentials of Paramedic Care". He told me he likes the pictures, when I asked him why he didn't read the other books, he said cause he likes "Doctor books" better.

Words cannot express the pride I feel at this moment.

That's completely adorable! I first attended an EMT class when I was 3 years old. I completely remember how much fun I thought it was.

Can I join?

My 3 yo was playing fire truck. The pirate ship had gotten into a bit of trouble, and the guys were dispatched on a water rescue. When he was playing dispatcher, he said "Squad 51 respond, time out 47:31."

And the little people he's playing with all have assigned roles in life; the boy is driving, the mom is riding as the officer.

I love this guy.

Awesome! Sounds like he has a bright future ahead of him!

My kids will never need new shoes every other month, drive, date, or go to college.

They're almost full grown now. They were only 2 months old or so in the picture and 5 lbs each, now they weigh 60-65 lbs at 10 months old.

Cute kiddos by the way :) keep the pictures coming. Sorry I had to sneak in my furry ones. ;)

I couldn't see them...this is a frequent problem for me. Nothing but red xes.

How about now??

Nope. Are you hotlinking them in? I think my virus protection doesn't allow that. I usually upload them to the forum, then use the paperclip icon to put them in my post.

Mrs Brown says she will deliver them if Brown does all the night time feedings and changings and bedtime story reading-to, Brown agreed provided we agree on normal names for them, nothing weird ....

As for that story ... once upon a time, there was a HEMS Reg and Paramedic who flew far away .... :D

I'm too smart and kind to humanity to have devil spawn of mine running around.

I couldn't fathom being a dad at my age.

I, like Lauren, will stick with puppies for now.

Neither could I but it happened and I did ok and am so glad for it now....not because the kids are so much fun but because they will be leaving the house while I am still young enough to have a life!!! :)

I pity my same-age friends who are just now starting families....LOL. SUCKERS!!!!

Very cute what breed are they? You know I adopted a dog about seven years ago when I was out of work with an injury, he was eight pounds when I got him, I was looking for a medium size dog around forty pounds, well at the vet s last w eek he tipped the scale at about 130 lbs. I was in the area so I went by the rescue I adopted him at and they told me it wasn't the same dog I adopted, hmmm I wonder if this is a common strategy they use.

As far a kids I have a one year old we had her late, I was 37. I don't regret it at all, I've lived alot in those years, I think I'm more mature now and I'll be a better father for it. I think we grow backwards we should get get younger as we get more experienced. This kid has taught me more about life in one year then my education and fifteen years in ems could ever teach me.

DANG! Big guy! What breed is he? Ours are shelter mutts - littermates. We did genetic testing which says they're german shep, malamute and newfoundland. Definitely not going to be as big as the latter two, but they do have extremely webbed toes and "howl-talk" like malamutes.

Me in a hammock with my baby girl Ember in June.

Oh is she cute, Id love to get another one, my wife not so much, I think the females are much more laid back, mine is a maniac.

They believe he is a mastiff mix, well at least that what it says on my bill. :)

They had two when I adopted him, I considered getting them both. I cant imagine having to feed two of them, and if this one steals another one of my wifes shoes we're both going to be living in my truck.

She yells and screams about him all the time, deep down she loves because when I get home from work there is no room for me in the bed.
