Taxis in the ambulance bay

Considering security are not cops, if I was taxi driver I would ignore him/her. My answer to him/her would be if you got a problem call the police. The reason OP got no help from security is because they likely were ignore by taxi drivers.

I'd be careful doing that. I've seen an ambulance get a ticket for parking in a red zone at UC Irvine Medical Center.

Granted, UC schools have their own police department and parking enforcement, UCI had already sent everyone a memo saying "Park here or here," and the place the ambulance parked was in a really stupid location anyways.

A lot of hospitals, atleast here, the 'security' are actually state license peace officers, usually armed, with full arresting and ticketing powers.

If your blocking an ambulance bay your impeding emergency services and I have no problem getting the police involved, especially if you are going to disrespect a security guard. They deal with enough crap all day why add to it?

I'd have no problem double parking over your company's rigs if I ever figured out what company you owned for the simple fact that I don't like you or the way you think and I know you don't run 911.

I guess you didn't read what I wrote. If I was a taxi driver that is what I would. Reason is because I would be in and out in likely 1 or 2 min max. It's very unlikely cops would have chances to get there. Obviously I am not a taxi driver.

It doesn't matter if your in and our in 1-2 minutes, if someone is talking to you your already in the way. I don't get paid enough to deal with people like you.

I have another comment but I'll keep it to myself seeing as it'd get me in a decent amount of trouble around here.

Whoa, bro. Too much info.

I usually just deal it, people are stupid and fire and PD are just ****s. I'll just park around them. I also, like blocking them in when I can. Sometimes, I gettired of PD pawning off their drunks on me.

That is my favorite recourse! I love to block taxis while I dismiss patients to the ER. I suppose If the taxi looses enough rode time they might learn.

Yeah, but it's always that 1 to 2 minutes that is stopping a truly emergent patient from getting to a higher level of care. If the person is well enough to take a taxi to the ER, they are well enough to walk the extra 20 feet from the street.
