It seems that in recent years, physicians have started "culturing" wounds more, and they are finding that what they have been diagnosing as spider bites for years, has acutally been MRSA. Commonly, the patient will report with a new "wound", but doesnt remember being bit by anything. Medical professional looks at it, and says, thats a spider bite, must have gotten it while you were sleeping. Look at the pic in link#2, when you see that, think MRSA.
