I am looking to order a new bag for my jump kit; so I figured I would post this so I can find out what is available and which ones you guys like best as far as ACTUALLY LUGGING THEM AROUND. I don't have a pic of mine; however, I do have a pic of one like it. The only difference between this one and my own is
that mine is Navy Blue with a reflective star.

I've got the medium one in my car trunk.

I also use their "roll bag" (http://www.galls.com/style.html?assort=general_catalog&style=BG029) as the bag I'll occasionally carry when I do First Aid for Boy Scout events. That bag also will come with me if I'm at my full time job playing a "non-EMT" role in a vehicle, or when travel long distance with my family. Mine has all the essentials, and is VERY compact.

The one change I made is that I replaced the standard shoulder strap with a nylon "radio strap" with mic holders and swivel snaps.

Call me a whacker, but I carry this in my trunk. It's not pretty, but I've use it a lot for minor stuff.

I learned a little money saving trick after a while. Instead of paying abt $129 for a kit refill; I just go to Wal-Mart and buy a couple of the $20 first aid kits; they have gauze, 4x4, etc..

Upon using our personal medical equip(C-spine collars, etc); we can simply
go into our local ambulance service and they will replace whatever piece
of equip we used from the current stock.

I actually got a soft sided fishig tackle box that had 4 boxs inside of it that were adjustable in size so I fillid 2 of the boxs with the bandaids and stuff to keep dry and left the other 2 out. So I had room for B/P kit and a bigger solid box. It was cheap and keeps everything zipped up away. *knock on wood* I haven't needed to use it yet. It rides in my trunk and goes back and forth with me all the time cuz It seems I'm always out on the road.

Yep... that's what I've got... and when I occasionally use stuff and need to refill, than I acquire the stuff from somewhere... usually I check with my Chief at the Squad and raid the supply room for 4x4s. tape, and cravats....

I love the LA rescue line. This is the bag I have except in navy blue. I have a conterra o2 kit to supplement. In my state though, unless im on the truck and getting paid, I can only act as a first responder, so there is no need for a big a$$ bag... even though I am a huge wacker. Buyemps sells the whole LA rescue line. check em out. below.
