San Diego ambulance wash?

Where are the vehicles garaged? Don't ambulances need to be garaged indoors/with a shoreline when not staffed, or is that just an MA thing? Especially in the CA heat, how to you keep (BLS) meds at the right temp, or keep the back a comfortable temp for patients?

Does your company have a dispatch? Extra supplies or equipment? A place for crews to sit between calls?

Nope the ambulances don't need to be garaged or have a shoreline when not staffed. BLS meds at the right temp? By BLS meds you must be talking about oral glucose because that's the only "med" we carry on BLS ambulances. When we start our shift in the morning we turn the A/C on high and our units are kept running for the full 12 hour shift.

If you carry them, EpiPens need to be stored at 77 degrees according to the manufacturer. That's my argument for when silly hipsters thank me for all the pollution I am causing.

Also, we don't shoreline our ambulances at night, the garage is cool enough that the a/c in the trucks does not need to be run at night.
