Reciprocity question(NY)

I’m here five years later with the same question as you; what did you end up doing?

Call BEMS. I am under the impression based on reading their latest policy statements that this hasn’t changed - unfortunately.

I spoke to them and they said that if more than half my course was pre recorded than I’m not eligible for reciprocity but if it was live then I am even if it was online
Not sure why they have this rule but at least now I know what my options are

Sorry to hear. It’s a nonsensical policy.

Perhaps because in live, you can ask questions and expand concepts. Listening or watching a recording isn’t learning, it’s just memorizing without understanding, otherwise, children wouldn’t have to attend school, they could just sit at home and watch videos…
