As a basic I believe you get 3 tries at the practical then you have to take a refresher then you get another 3 tries.

Ok, so I won't have to re-take the class if I don't pass the practical my first time? I am positive I'll pass the written final and the class, just not about the practical the next day.
This should have been stated in the syllabus for your class, or at least on the first day by your instructor, and restated as the practical and exam neared. Perhaps go back to the materials provided by your course?

I believe if we fail the written final , we have to retake the class..
No you can retake it just gotta pay your 70 bucks again, but there is a max number of times you can fail.
