Pyxis for Narcotics

Anyone here using a Pyxis to issue narcotics? I don’t mean at hospitals, or hospitals issuing to EMS. My department purchased a small unit which should allow crews to issue narcs to themselves. So far it’s been a bit of a disaster, would love to hear if anyone has had success.

We looked into it. It was easier to just manage them ourselves.

We use a brand called Cubex. We have a lot of issues with it nationwide.

We use a Pyxis to check our narcs in and out. We check out a sealed kit and return it with a different colored seal if it's used. We have a separate tracking board to keep track of which boxes are used. We've had issues with people putting in the wrong counts and messing up the inventory. Our command staff restocks the boxes and has added Pyxis access to restock kits.
