Well, you may have noticed a slight change in my profile.

My captain told me last night that I'm off probation. I didn't think it happened until our department meeting in a couple weeks, but he said its the Captain's call. All he has to do is give the formal letter to the chief stating such.

The only other formality is fixing dinner for the crew. Of course, this tends to be a primarly "liquid" dinner, if you know what I mean.
