/me tries to figure out the difference between a "liberal" libertarian and a "conservative" libertarian.
Generally, it's what it sounds like: liberal libertarians hold liberal views without feeling the government should enforce them, and conservative libertarians hold conservative views without feeling the government should enforce them. For example, a liberal libertarian might support gay marriage and a conservative might oppose it but both would argue that the government shouldn't be involved with marriage period.
