Philly Area ALS 911?

I'm just wondering who handles ALS 911 in the Philly area, I know Philly FD handles the city but who handles all the burbs? And if you don't mind how much does a medic make average in the area. Thanks in advance

lots and lots of individual companies in each individual area. every town (for the most part) has their own service, or contracts out with a neighboring area.

That's good to know, I was afraid it was a lot of volley like in Jersey.

It depends on your point of view. There are volunteer paramedics in PA, and most places are combination departments.

in NJ, if you are paramedic, you (in theory) only see sick patients.

in PA, you are working 1 EMT and 1 Paramedic, so you deal with a lot of BS.

Also I hear NJ paramedics make more money than PA.
