realistically, the vendor puts out "approved" training, and is the SME on all their products, so it makes a lot of sense to use their videos.
For new devices, tell everyone to watch the video. then put it on each other so you can get hands on experience. bonus points if you go to the bunk room, put a FF between the bed and the wall, and have the crews apply the sling while getting his or her our with as little movement as possible.
