Part time FF/Medics part jobs in Atlanta Metro?

Does anybody know if any fire departments in the Atlanta Metro/burbs ever hire part time FF/Medics? Im a FF/Medic moving to Atl from Chicago.
 
I don't think you will find any part time FF/Medic jobs (most places don't hire part time FFs, except if you are already working FT as a career firefighter), but I am positive you will be able to find many part time medic jobs.
 
Echo Parasite.

There are usually Union negotiated restrictions against part time FF, on call FF, etc. Eats up the full timers OT opportunities and opens the door to abuse by the powers that be.
 
Thanks! 2 more yrs of college. Just trying to find a part time medic job where i am running 911 out of a fire station and not posted on a corner all shift. Eventho I like fighting fire. I enjoy ems more. Thanks again!

Tony take a look at roswell FD all of their personal are part time with the exception of the fire chief and a few others

For whatever reason around here many of the union represented (IAFF) districts are still able to have volunteer, pay per call, part time, and PRN employees in addition to their full time staff. Guess we are weird.
