hello!! I'm a high school senior, female. Hello everyone. Is a bridge program worth all the trouble of finding one? Does anyone know a good program in Atlanta Georgia?
Nationally, it's far easier to bridge from RN to Paramedic. The number of state boards of nursing that will accept a Paramedic to RN bridge candidate for licensure is far smaller than the number of state EMS offices/agencies that will accept an RN to Paramedic candidate for licensure. I did both the "traditional" way and as such, I'll have an easier time moving from state to state.
Go directly to RN. Do not pass go. Do not collect $200.
Don't waste your valuable time and money going to medic school. Go for your career, and if you still really want to be a medic, find an RN to medic bridge program.
