Hi, I am currently an EMT-B and very interested in becoming a paramedic. I have heard that some places offer paramedic training condensed into a single summer. Does anyone know where to find a program such as this? Thanks

:D :D :D Welcome! :D :D :D

As far as the class goes, check with an advisor of the colleges in your area, ask your employer, and check with your county EMS dept (if that isn't your employer). One of them would be able to tell you what's offered in your area.

Welcome to our own little corner of dysfunction.

I would answer your question, but Wingnut did a good job of that.

Never heard of it happening, but it might be possible.

Dunno where.

PS - Welcome

Putting nearly one year's worth of didactic and clinical hours into 2 months? :o

Better to look at one where you will actually absorb some of the info that will be thrown at you.

JMHO...

BTW: WELCOME!!!

LOOK...He said Wingnut was right!! :o :P <_< :D

I have to agree with ECC. 'Round here the Medic course is 13 months. I cannot imagine doing all that in one summer...

Kind of like doing the EMT-B class in 3 weeks...but that is a WHOLE 'nother arguement.
