Looks like excessive speed. Looking at the wreck though, the cot stayed on the chassis- meaning the patient likely got sucked out from under the belts. Restrained or not, the medic is going for a ride on this one.

Based on the description of the wreck, a rollover with the patient compartment box separating from the chassis and basically being demolished, and what little of the injuries to the medic in back they talked about, I honestly don't think shoulder straps would have saved the patient...Heck the second video the roof of the cab was crushed to nearly dashboard height, I'm kind of surprised the driver didn't have serious injuries (well at least more than what they mentioned, which is to say next to nothing about the driver beyond "good condition" which is also how the one video described the attendant, who in the first video is described as having basically broken every bone including her back....).....Just looks and sounds like a bad wreck, period.
