I'm curious about paramedic reciprocity in Nova Scotia. My fiancé is from the Maritimes and she's mentioned that it might be nice to go back... Not a lot of info on the EHS website. I thought I'd ask here before I started sending emails. It's more of a curiosity thing...

It is actually a pretty easy process. The website is a bit out of date with some info and the protocols. I will pm you more details.

Excellent!

Check out some of my older posts. I've posted links to forms and stuff before. Getting registered here is relatively easy. Convincing the federal gov't they should allow you to work, maybe not.
Currently ACPs are getting preference for most jobs. One shouldn't have to work long as a casual before getting a full time job. Opportunities pop up all over the province. You should expect to work first in a small town or rural area.
The casuals we have are getting full time hours every week and they are still dropping trucks off the roster for lack of staff to cover shifts.
If you can get here you shouldn't worry about not having work.
