Just call around. Edison & South Plainfield have volunteer squads. I'm not too familiar with ones in that area though.

north brunswick, franklin somerset, I believe north stelton FD, east brunswick, south river, sayreville, morgan, and woodbridge, all accept out of town members, and require their personnel to ride from the station (north stelton and south river also allow people to respond from home).

south plainfield responds from home, and edison doesn't have volunteers that respond to calls anymore
