What are the proper steps to becoming a fireman? I'm new to EMS by being an EMT and I don't really know what to do I would like to be a Fireman, but also a paramedic. Anyone have any advice or steps? Also I'm sorry if this post is in the wrong place.

Join a local volunteer fire department or take some fire classes at a community college or take a fire academy (also offered at some community colleges).

That will vary greatly according to your location,just around at your local Fire departments.
Being an EMT already should give you a great advantage already...Best of luck !!
