Newbie Intro

Hello to all. I signed up awhile back but havn't introduced myself. I've been skimming the posts and this looks like a great place, lots of insight.

I'm 34 and happily married. I live in Missouri and have been a paramedic since 1991. I worked for one hospital based ambulance service for 10 years, then switched to the competition (the only other hospital based ambulance service in the city) in 2001. Over the past 3 years, I've been back and forth from the street to dispatch, trying to start a family and continue working. I just had a baby girl 2 months ago and when I go back in mid-May, will work part time dispatch/street for a few years until we put the little one in daycare.

Nice to find a forum in my line of work and look forward to getting to know everyone.
