I understand the difference that doesnt change the fact a coldhearted paramedic is capable.

We may be using two different definitions for "coldhearted." And honestly, I'd rather not hijack the thread of a prospective EMT by going down the rabbit hole of a philosophical debate. Let's do the OP a favor by encouraging him/her and giving good advice. If you have something encouraging to say, please do -- you obviously have a lot of experience and have been active for a while, so perhaps you can offer some wisdom to Niccigsu instead of deciding that I've somehow said something unacceptable by stressing the need to be caring and compassionate.

It'd be helpful to know some anatomy before starting your class, but what you don't know, you'll learn.
