I totally forgot to update this post.
They do tests in Santa Fe, Clovis, and Las Cruces. I flew in to El Paso, TX and drove up North to Las Cruces. It was about a 45 minute drive. If you want to go to Clovis, fly into Lubbock, TX or Albuquerque, NM for Santa Fe.
The test was 100 questions and multiple choice on a scantron. It seemed very informal like a mom and pop shop to me, lol. There was only one lady by herself in the Las Cruces office. She told me that the building used to be lawyer offices I think? She escorted me to an office where I took the test in peace.
The questions were generic paramedic questions. The content would be stuff you should knew through taking ACLS, PALS, ITLS, PHTLS, etc. There were also med math question for both IV push drugs and drips. Examples (not actual test questions I hope... I am intentionally trying to make it up)
You have a 20 kg patient in cardiac arrest. Your standing orders are 0.01 mg/kg and your epinephrine preload is 0.1 mg/ml. How many ml are you going to give the patient?
Your adult patient is seizing. Medical direction has given you orders to administer 2 mg Midazolam. Your vial is 5 mg/ml. How many ml will you give?
You are transporting a hypotensive septic patient. You've elected to administer 4 mcg/min Levophed. Your Levophed bag is 8 mg/250 ml. You're using a micro drip set, 60 gtt = 1 ml, how many gtt/min will you give?
It had pictures of ECGs. It asked you for your interpretation and treatment plan.

What is your interpretation of this ECG?
What's your treatment plan?
The patient has gone into cardiac arrest. What are you going to do?
It was kind of like that. I'm trying to simulate it as best as I can.
It's not a hard test at all. I think if you are fresh from paramedic school or have experience, you won't find it difficult at all. I wouldn't stress out too much.
