Looking back on all of the "good news" that people have posted, and some of the comments that have been made about them, I came up with a new idea, and wanted to know what the room thought. Since everyone is so spread out we can't really get together to celebrate the good doings of others. Since everyone has crazy schedules we can't exactly set a time for everyone to celebrate together over the computer. So, why don't we set the first 7 days of the month aside for celebrations. At some point in time of the first 7 days everyone in their own way can do something in celebration of one of our fellow forum members "good doings." If you are at home and want to pop the top on your favorite beverage, just propose a toast to the people we are celebrating, if you go to the bar have your first drink in memory of those people. For birthdays you can celebrate during the 7 days you can stop and buy a small cake or brownie and say happy birthday. Something simple. Whatever you can come up with. The reason that I mentioned opening it for 7 days is the fact that everyone has to work, and no, I don't expect you to celebrate for 7 says straight, but that will give you some time to do something and then you can post it on the forum what you did in honor of that person. I think it would be fun. So what do you think? If you like the idea then I will post a page on the 1st day of each month so we can keep track of the crazy ideas that we all came up with to say congratulations. Let me know and if you want I will post one tomorrow (July 1, 2005) so we can celebrate everythin that we have accomplished over the month of June.
