New EMT Student - Any Tips?

I'm a new student in emt school I'm almost done with a 6wk academy. Anyone have some advice on learning, as far as tricks that will help me remember? Or any advice in general?

Reading and repetition. Making and going through flash cards seems to help a lot of people, too.

One thing that I suggest to my students when trying to make information stick, is to use flash cards that are either different color, or written in color. I also suggest that he or she tries walking around the house when reviewing information.

You have to know how you learn before you can streamline the process.
