Has anybody here moved from the corporate world (think: Fortune 500 companies, offices, cubicles, Excel monkey-ing) to full-time EMS or into something more EMS-related? I'm thinking about making that move in the next year or two, and I was hoping somebody might have a perspective on that. I'm also thinking of pursuing an MBA and/or MPH (or a related MS degree in a public health sub discipline).
To clarify, I have a bachelor's degree, and am in the corporate world (on the financial services side). My EMS experience has been on a municipal ALS (911-only) service, albeit as a volunteer.
