i finished my emt-b, whether i do academy and then medic or medic then academy is up in the air. either way i want to get them both done. but i'm just curious, are you more likely to get hired if you've already done your medic? instead of a department having to possibly invest money in you to go back to get your medic once you're on? is it impossible to study and get your medic while working already? i realize know one can make the decision for me, just curious. these are just things i'm taking into consideration...thanks!
