License process in Michigan

Does anyone know how long it takes for the state of Michigan to process a License application?

My EMT took about 3 weeks, but I called and bugged them a lot.

Lately my paramedic friends have been waiting 2-3 weeks.

There is only 2 people in the office, so just depends how busy they are.

When I did it back in 2002 there was just one person in the office. It took a couple of weeks. When I needed a copy of my license years later I found calling the lady and inquiring about the status of my license helpful in speeding up the process.
