just moved to seattle

Okay so I'm moving to Seattle area in about 3 days about and am currently an EMT-I in the state of California. What do I need to do to get transferred to state of Washington and who hires EMT-I's in Seattle area??

I've looked up info to transfer but I'm not sure I'm reading it right :blush:

I see that you're an California EMT. The way they do things there confuses the hell out of me when I see it written. If you're a Basic, you'll need to visit THIS SITE to fill out your initial paperwork. If you're an intermediate, you're out of luck. King County doesn't recognize the Intermediate level.

oh yeah... and there's nobody in Seattle currently hiring.
