come into work for a 24 and you realize you left your wallet and lunch at home

That is all

Indeed.

Indeed, that does suck.

Ugh. :(

I've called home to have stuff brought to me. Course, all the certs and such that I HAVE to have on me are in my wallet, I officially can't work without it.

It really sucks when you have an electronic key and leave your wallet at home. Trust me, I know!

I did that once... Never forgotten my wallet since :P

BTW, nice sig line :D

+1 on that.

I was on a special call, just transferring blood down to Cork from Dublin (about 400
miles) and since I was juts called in to to the job, I forgot my wallet. I had to blag coffee and smokes from gas stationa!

I"m sorry! I hope the rest of your day gets better! ;)

That's why I keep a $20 in my former work, now clinical backpack.

Bummer. I hope someone can get it to you, or you have a partner that is willing to spot you some cash until your next shift.

At least in Texas I do not have to have my certification card with me.

I also keep some cash in various places so I do not starve. Another thing I learned early on is keep spare meds in your bag and in your car in case you forget to take them, just be mindful of temperatures so they don't get ruined.

Oh yeah and for a 24 I need more than just lunch.

Partner should spot you... unless they are brokeass too.

Or unless you're paired with a Basic :P

Guess thats when you find out if you are a Paragod or not. A Paragod would never be able to ask a basic for help. They would starve to death first. :P

Haha. When I worked the 24 hour shift I needed breakfast, lunch, dinner, various things to snack on while kicked back on the lazy boy and icecream. =]

For some reason I wish today was slow.

We've had...a lot of calls. Already on our 10th call and its not over till 630am tomorrow. Everything you can imagine too. Also, they are shooting again down the street. I love downtown and the ghetto for that reason.

My partner bought dinner today. I should be good till tomorrow but we'll see.

Thanks to the TSA, we are not allowed on the flightline side of the fence without our credentials. Even though we can escort anyone if they have business in the station, we cannot escort another person if they are a badge-holder. Since I work a good 45 minutes from the house, I am *very* careful to check for my creds before I pull out of the driveway in the morning! I have left wallet, cell, lunch, extra clothes, books, homework, and everything else under the sun sitting on my kitchen table, but never my badge necklace. (Knocks three times on the wooden table)
