Hello from the Buckeye State!!!!

Just wanted to pop in and say hello. My name is Denise and I live in Ohio. I just started EMT-B classes the 6th of this month, and so far, they are going extremely well!
My background is in audiology and speech pathology, but after having been out of the field for 8 years to start a family, I thought if I am going to go back into the workforce, I want to do something different. So here I am....going after something I have wanted to do for a very VERY long time, and I couldn't be more happy. This has been a wonderful move for me, and I am really looking forward to this new direction I am taking in my life.
I have really enjoyed looking around this site....lots of really good info. Hope to meet some new friends here as well.
