I think google results are sorted by how many other sites link to them. Maybe everybody can put a link to emtlife on their blog/personal website/public myspace-facebook-blahblahblah page?

Finding this forum on a keyword as broad as EMT is pretty hard. I found it by googleing (is that a word?) EMT forum

Not really, though I have been on a forum that used vBSEO and dedicated members to make itself the first or second hit for a fairly broad keyword. I don't think this forum or the Internet would benefit enough from that to justify all the spamming required.

I was also told it had something to do with the frequency website was accessed (ie clicked on).
