First Semester of Paramedic school in the books

Austin Community College has an outstanding program.

Congrats. Last year was the completion of my first semester. All skills completed and tested off. As a class we were so thrilled. I invited everyone to my house for a party. Nothing better than 30 drunk medic students playing nerf wars at 2 am. I'm still finding darts around my house. It was awesome.

Our first semester will be up on the 15th. So not ready for the final especially since my instructor said it will be mainly cardiac and cardiac killed me this semester. Can't wait for ACLS on saturday though.

I finished my finals today for my first semester. We had intro to ems, patient assessment, and pharmacology. I'm so glad it's christmas break, but I'm excited to start learning cardiac and airway next semester.

I just finished my first semester of medic school here in VA. It was an interesting semester learned so much. Our first semester consisted of, Intro to ALS (IVs,Airway,ect) , ALS trauma, ECG Interpretation,PHTLS, and ALS internship. Cant wait for next semester.

Had my final today. Our first semester consisted of patho phsiology/pharmacology/cardiac/documentation stuff/and intro to als. Also we got ACLS in this semester. Next semester we will have phtls and the 3rd semester we will have pals or it may be the other way around lol

The alphabet soup is stupid easy. Know your pediatric doses for PALS though otherwise it'll be a pain in the butt.
