Great, but your question is kinda -don't have relevance-.
Its not like there is a list of EMT agencies that are currently hiring.
They are ALL currently hiring.
It depends on who is applying.
So many places need per diem EMTs...
all the time, EMTs either leave for 911, or go to Medic school or PA school or etc..
it is always a constant in and out with EMTs. Turnover rate is way high.
ANY BUSINESS wants high grade employees, and will bump hours off of lower grade employees to put in the high grade ones.
For example, If I were to send in an application that a cover letter that states these points:
NYS certified EMT looking for per diem transport.
State Score 90%
Perfect Driving Record, 0 points, 0 accidents. Driving Abstract Attached.
Excellent health, can lift 200+ pounds
Professional appearance and attention to detail.
Currently Volunteering with ______ agency in Brooklyn.
Letters of recommendations available upon request.
then since you are new, your resume of your old jobs should be tailored to match what they are looking for in EMS transport. even if it isn't medical.
