emt boots

I have a pair of the 511 ATACS. not a bad boot, I like the fact that its polishable leather.. (i'm old school army) and the fact that I have the side zip.

It sucks that I have no where to try them before I buy them but for the most part I find them comforatble.

My best advice look around and buy what you can afford at the moment. They are surely not gonna be the only pair of boots you'll own if you stay in the business. So you'll see what you like and dislike.

I'm all about my slip-on BlueTongues which are made by Redback. DEMedic convinced me to try them and they are far more comfortable than my old Thorogoods. I haven't had any issues with a lack of ankle support though I keep hiking boots in my car if we get a complicated sounding TA or backcountry call.

I should get a kickback from Redback. :)

I like my Red Wings... The "work" line. I've had them for about two years now and no complaints
