Doctors ambulance OC. I have the written test Thursday at 11:30. How is it? Also, do they still have any 911 contracts or has care taken them all?

Care took over i believe 11/12. Not to certain as to how many. As for written test. Same test as when i took AMRs test. Simple ABC and a few opinion type questions.
 
Care took all but Laguna Beach.
 
late reply haha. thanks for responses. im going thru orientation right now and start my ride outs next week. do you guys think there will be any chance of doctors gaining back the contracts???
 
No way. That would be an unbelievable turn of events.

Doctors is a good company. Hopefully they can reinvent themselves and don't end up like Medix.

as long as they are affiliated with AMR there's not a single chance in OC ever. It's before my time in EMS but I heard when AMR had OC they didn't leave a great impression with OCFA and from my understanding as the legend goes, as long as OCFA exists AMR won't in OC. buying doctors was an attempt to get back into the county.

That's what I've heard. Contract is up in May.

So much for the "you stay above the 55 and we'll stay below" agreement between Care and Doctors.
 
A decent number of Doctors ambulances are getting repainted and referbished and being sent to AMR riverside county.

All riverside county has are the type 2 leaders. The only type 3s we have are for CCT and Bari units.

I haven't had a chance to look yet but I thing the majority of the type 3s we are getting are leaders.
