My course for my emtb is past the two year mark, does that mean im screwed into taking the program all over again?

It all depends upon whether or not you've ever taken the exam and gotten certified. None of us can answer your question without knowing that answer first.

Yes, if you took the course then never did your certification stuff you'll have to take it again.
Medicine is dynamic, you can't just go on a two year hiatus without any additional training and expect to be up to speed on current evidence based practices.

Screwed? No. You can take an EMT class again. I know they make you do that if you fail the exam 6 times (3 after remedial training).
