Hey guys, quick question. I applied to CARE ambulance last year on 8/19/19 and wasn’t selected and I thought it was 6 months until I can reapply so I applied on 5/11/20. I got an email a week after saying that I wasn’t selected to proceed and that my previous application is still on file and will remain so for 12 months. Is the email talking about the one that I sent on 5/11/20 or the 8/19/19 ?

Sounds like you have to wait a year between apps after being non-selected and that you can reapply in August. Call HR to confirm.

Are you working now? If not, apply to Emergency, Doctors and Lynch. Get some experience under your belt for when you reapply in August.

This was the email they sent after I tried reapplying. I heard that it’s 12 months of waiting after you don’t get selected from your original app which in my case was 8/19/19. But they just worded this weirdly which threw me off

Care has also been reducing hours and furloughing staff due to reduced call volume due to COVID
