California: Passed NREMT, Have Ambulance Driving Cert., What Next?

I Just passed my NREMT and finished getting my ambulance driving cert and now im trying to figure out what is the last thing to do, which one do I apply for the state ems license or the local ems license or is it the same thing so confused!!! I don't want to spend $105 all for nothing plz help really confused Thanks GUYS!! I live in CA by the way.

Because that's the only state I know of that's so screwed up that you have to get a different license for each county. Have fun with that... Unfortunately, I'll be of no help on this one.

We're an internet community that has over 20,000 members from many states and countries. In the future it would be helpful if you had a descriptive title and included not only your state, but also your county/city.
 
You have to get a state card. Depending on the county you want to work in you may have to get a county card (LA, OC). Other counties all you need is the state card.
