CA State Card

Hey everyone,
I was wondering if anyone might be able to help me out with how I can apply for my CA State Card. I cant seem to find it anywhere.

You have to go through your county EMS office (ie LA county, OC county, Riverside county, etc).

So once I go get my county card I can apply there for my state card?

There are no more county cards for the EMT level (LA and OC require an "expanded scope" card however). You go to your county EMS office and fill out the paperwork for the state card.

The following link should help you out in regards to getting your state EMT card and San Diego county certification. In San Diego county you not only get your state EMT card but you get your San Diego county certification.

Yes with an I-number that is different than your state or NREMT number.
