Ok, I almost brought this up in another topic, but I think it deserves it's own. I am starting to build up a nice little collection of reference books. I would like to have an extensive collection, because #1. I like to read and #2. I like to know as much as I possibly can about what I'm doing. So what reference books do you guys use? Feel is most informative? Helped you the most?
Books are expensive and I've made the mistake one too many times of buying a book that wasn't adequate or was outdated.
Just to give you an idea I have:
Brady- Prehospital Emergency Care
ACLS- Quick Review Study Cards
Medical Terminology for Health Prefessionals (kind of useless actually)
Mosby Medical Encyclopedia
Mosby Diagnostic and Laboratory Test Reference (got this from a friend who's a biologist, I've actually found it useful)
And of course my biology/chemistry/and anatomy texts from classes.
I'm planning on buying A&P for dummies today, I found it and I need it lol. This class is kicking my butt. Any suggestions would be great, I look at all the medical/ACLS/BLS books and just go blank trying to figure out what will be the best.
